I am born and raised in Clinton, Iowa. I went to college at Ashford University and received my degrees in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing and Management, Business Education, and a Master's in Teaching and Learning with Technology. Before becoming a teaching I was in the workforce, as a restaurant manager for a Clinton restaurant called Rastrelli's. I have now taught for 12 years and enjoy every minute of it. I also have advised Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), a club at school, for 9 years and currently serve as the State Officer Coordinator for our state committee.
My husband, Ryan, and I have 3 children. Malachi is 16, Maddox is 7, and our daughter Makayle is going to be 4. We like to hang out with our very large extended family and we do a lot of recreational activities.
I look forward to the school year and all the fun things that go along with it. Going to the sporting events, watching the plays, and hanging out with my FBLA members are just a few of the things I like to do during the school year.
You can learn more about my classes on the "Classes" tab at the top of the page, where you can find class description and syllabi and links to class sites when available. You can learn more about the club I advise on the "FBLA" tab, where you will find info on the club and how to join.
Hope you have a great school year!
