WHO WE ARE
We are an international student organization with over 230,000 members. FBLA’s mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.
WHAT WE DO
Our Bettendorf FBLA chapter focuses on 3 pillars: service, leadership, and fellowship. We feel these 3 pillars will help us to make lasting memories and learning experiences for our members.
First and foremost fellowship, the students find ways to connect with each other through events they plan. Sometimes they go to the movies, go to dinner, or even ice skating. Finding time to bond with other students with help strengthen the organization.
Next is leadership. We create many meaningful learning opportunities for students make themselves more career and college ready. We attend conferences during the year that provide us with the best speakers and leadership sessions. We do tours of businesses, guest speakers from businesses, and tour different schools to make sure we understand what these careers and paths have in store for us.
Finally is service. We cannot stress how important service is in the world today and we like the students to find service that really fulfills them. We work with Gilda's Club to schedule students to go and volunteer once a week. We also raise money for March of Dimes each year with our annual pancake breakfast.
